Young children ask about one hundred questions a day. As a child who always leaned on the side of more, my parents assured me I asked many more questions than the average. While other children began questioning less, I was still rampantly curious. It is this desire for learning and exploration that fuels my current work. Inspired by interactions and engagement with others, I use my fashion construction, sculpture, and printmaking background to provoke thought through interactive abstract performance art. I aim to create work that compels others to question their belief systems from a place of my own questioning—working to show the universality and inherent connection of the human experience.
I am an emerging artist based in New York, NY. I have previously studied at The University of Alabama and Suffolk University and I am now pursuing a BFA in Fashion Design and a BA in Art History and Journalism at Parsons School of Design.
